The next semester of the Citizen Fire Academy has been set for February 7-April 17. Classes will be held on Thursday nights from 6:30pm-9:30pm. No class will be held during Spring Break (March 17). The classes will be held at Rockwall Fire Station #2 located at 920 Rockwall Parkway. Applications are currently being accepted and are available at the Rockwall Fire Department and Rockwall City Hall.

- Ride out with Firefighters

The Academy is a beneficial exercise for citizens and firefighters alike, allowing each to learn from the other. There are several opportunities for hands-on experience.
Attendance is open to anyone living or working in the County of Rockwall. Applicants should have a clear criminal history and must be at least 18 years of age. There is no charge for the course.
